Quantum Immortality, Ancestral Trauma & Other Casual Afternoon Thoughts

Updated: Jun 30

Ever have one of those days where you're crying on the floor over your great-grandmother’s trauma and then suddenly you start wondering…“Wait, what if I’m also healing all the alternate versions of me across the dimensions?”

Just me? No worries!

Welcome to the weird and wonderful intersection of Quantum Immortality and Ancestral Traum, where science fiction meets shadow work and your inner child is sneaking a look at you from five timelines over.

So, What Is Quantum Immortality?

Quantum Immortality is a theory from the realm of quantum physics that basically says: every time you could have died, some version of you didn’t. That version keeps living. Forever. In its own little timeline. With its own weird decisions. Possibly with bangs.

In a nutshell there might be infinite versions of you running around out there. How exciting!

Now Add Ancestral Trauma to the Mix...

Ancestral trauma is the emotional kitchen drawer (where you shove all the crap you might need in the future but never use) you inherited from your family. You didn’t ask for it, but here it is, fear, grief, limiting beliefs, and the inexplicable urge to people-please your way through life. It’s not just “in your head”, it’s encoded in your nervous system, your behaviours, and yes, sometimes your awkward dreams about your ancestors yelling at you in languages you don’t speak. I've woken myself up shouting in a very manly Scottish accent before.

But here’s the kicker: when you do the work—therapy, EMDR, somatic healing, screaming into pillows—you’re not just healing you. You’re healing the whole damn chain. Upstream. Downstream. And, according to our quantum theory friends... maybe even sideways across dimensions.

Quantum Ancestral Healing

Let’s imagine for a second that healing is like tuning a cosmic radio. Every time you set a boundary, cry in ceremony, or gently tell your inner child to chill out, you shift frequencies. And in doing that, maybe you’re nudging all your quantum doppelgängers toward something softer too.

Maybe the version of you who never went to therapy starts feeling weirdly calm.Maybe the you who ghosted her feelings for decades suddenly gets the urge to journal.Maybe your great-great-grandmother sighs in relief because someone. finally. broke the cycle.

Okay, But What Do I Do With This?

Here’s your very unscientific, highly effective starter pack for Multiversal Ancestral Healing:

  • Set the Scene: Light the candles. Burn the herbs. Put on that one playlist that makes you feel like a mystical therapist from the future.

  • Talk to Your Lineage: Out loud. In your head. Write them a letter. Tell them what you’re healing—and let them know they’re invited.

  • Acknowledge the Weird: If you get a flash of an alternate version of yourself crying in a bathtub in 1997 to When 2 Become 1—just roll with it. Quantum timelines are messy.

  • Celebrate the Wins: Every time you choose rest over burnout, truth over silence, boundaries over martyrdom—you’re doing multiversal surgery.

Final Thoughts: You’re Kind of a Time Lord!

Healing isn’t linear. It’s spiral-y, emotional, and sometimes cosmic as hell. When you choose to show up for your ancestral wounds, you’re not just rewriting your story—you’re potentially remixing every version of you that’s ever existed.

So go ahead. Do the inner work. Cry it out. Laugh at the absurdity. And know that somewhere out there, a version of you is saying:"Thank you. I needed that."

Until next time, keep healing across timelines (and drink water),
